Start at the Apothecary

Before you head to your site or down to the creek, make your first stop our Apothecary storefront, the central hub of the Gold Panner experience.

All gold panning day passes require check-in at the Apothecary before accessing the creek.

This is where you:

• Pick up all rentals (gold pans, tools, etc.)
• Grab firewood, ice, and camp essentials
• Check in for gold panning access
• Discover a curated selection of goods from local artisans and makers

⚠️ Important: Gold Panning Rules & Claim Access

Gold Panner operates on active, registered placer mining claims.

To keep things fair, legal, and respectful for everyone:

• A valid Gold Panning Pass is required to access and pan on our claim
• All passes are issued through the Apothecary storefront
• Panning without permission is considered claim jumping under provincial law
• Recreational gold panning in BC is governed by the Mineral Tenure Act
• Equipment is limited to hand panning only
  (No sluice boxes, high bankers, or metal detectors permitted)

This isn’t just a policy; it’s how we protect the land, the experience, and the integrity of the claim.

Every dollar spent, whether on firewood, experiences, or goods from the Apothecary, is reinvested directly back into the property. Trails, amenities, and future experiences are all built from that support.
