ABOUT THE GOLD PANNER

Tucked into the quiet foothills of the Monashee Mountains along BC's iconic Rainforest to Rockies route from Vancouver to Calgary, Gold Panner Campground is a family-run retreat where forest, history, and fresh mountain air come together. Surrounded by towering trees and the wild beauty of the North Okanagan, it’s a place where days are spent exploring, and evenings slow down beside the glow of a campfire.

Whether you’re arriving with a tent, camper van, motorhome, fifth wheel, or simply looking for the comfort of a cabin or chalet, you’ll find a welcoming place to settle in and make yourself at home.

Our campground offers a variety of amenities designed to keep your stay comfortable while preserving the simple charm of camping in nature. Guests can enjoy a covered BBQ area, playground, coin-operated hot showers, flushing toilets, and several conveniently located outhouses throughout the property.

Every campsite includes a picnic table and fire pit so you can gather for meals and evening fires under the stars. Our water system is gravity-fed from the surrounding mountains, which means the pressure is naturally lower; but it’s part of what keeps the experience here simple, rustic, and connected to the land.

We are currently working on expanding our wi-fi services throughout the facility for those who are looking to stay connected on their journey or are traveling for business, but for now, free wi-fi is available at the Gold Panner Apothecary in the front office building. Telus network also typically gets reliable cellular service across most of the property.

We’re proud to be a pet-friendly campground and welcome well-behaved dogs and cats. Pets staying in campsites are welcome at no additional cost. For guests staying in cabins or chalets, a small pet fee applies. We kindly ask that pets remain on leash and that owners clean up after them so everyone can enjoy the grounds.

Check-in begins at 1:00 PM for Campsites and 4:00 PM for Cabins/Chalets, and check-out is 11:00 AM.
