CAMPGROUND RULES

Check-In: Campsites: 1 PM, Cabins/Chalets: 4 PM | Check-Out: 11 AM | Quiet Hours: 11 PM – 8 AM Speed Limit: 5 km/h | Registration: All guests and visitors must register at the office.

Payment

• Cabins & Chalets: A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking. The remaining balance will be automatically processed 30 days prior to the reservation date.
• RV & Tents: 100% of payment is due at the time of booking.

Vehicles & Sites

• Parking: One vehicle per site. Additional vehicles are $10/night (must register).

• RV Condition: Must be in good working order and appearance.

• Prohibited: No vehicle washing, maintenance, or use of paint/chemicals.

• Mail: No mail or package deliveries accepted.

• Site Tidiness: Keep sites clean. No clotheslines, hanging items from trees, or outdoor mattresses/cots.

Fire & Trash

• Fires: Use designated rings only. Never leave unattended. Extinguish fully.

• Wood: Burn only campground-provided wood. No burning garbage. Obey all fire bans.

• Trash: Use enclosed receptacles. Do not leave trash out overnight.

Pets & Facilities

• Pets: Must be leashed (max 2m / 6ft) and supervised. Pick up all waste.

• Smoking: Strictly prohibited in Cabins and Chalets.

• Toilets: Flush only toilet paper. Place hygiene products in waste bins.

• Environment: Stay on designated trails. Take only pictures, leave only footprints.

Gate Access & Security
To help keep the campground safe and peaceful for all guests, our entrance gates are locked nightly between 9:00 PM and 8:00 AM. During this time, vehicle access is limited. If you need to enter or exit the park outside of these hours, please give campground management a call and we’ll be happy to assist with opening the gate.

Gold Panning

Gold Panning Day Passes are available at the front office. * Access: This property contains active mineral claims. You must register and pay the $15 fee before panning.

• Equipment: Recreational hand panning only. No sluice boxes, high-bankers, or metal detectors.

• Claim Jumping: Unauthorized panning on our or adjacent claims is considered theft.

CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY

We understand that plans can change. To ensure fairness to all our guests, the following policies apply to all reservations at The Gold Panner Campground.

1. Cabins & Chalets

• Payment: A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking. The remaining balance is due 30 days prior to arrival.

• Per-Unit Cancellation Fees:

  • $80 Fee: Heckman, Pinnacles, and Cherry units.

  • $40 Fee: Prospector, Grizzly, Lil Nugget, and Happy Jack units.

Refund Schedule:

• More than 30 days' notice: The cancellation fee is deducted first. The remaining balance is then issued as 50% Refund and 50% Camp Credit.

• Less than 30 days' notice: The remaining balance is issued as 50% Camp Credit and 50% Non-Refundable.

2. Tent & RV Sites

• Payment: Full payment is required at the time of booking.

• Cancellation Fee: A $20 fee per stall applies to all cancellations.

Refund Schedule:

• More than 14 days' notice: The $20 fee is deducted first. The remaining balance is then issued as 50% Refund and 50% Camp Credit.

• Less than 14 days' notice:  The remaining balance is issued as 50% Camp Credit and 50% Non-Refundable.

3. General Policies

• No-Shows: Guests who do not arrive for their scheduled reservation without prior notice are considered cancellations. These are 100% non-refundable.

• Wildfire & Emergency Policy: Refunds due to wildfires will only be issued if The Gold Panner Campground is under an official Civil Order to Evacuate during the specific dates of your reservation.
